We had a contest sent out via email to all the dealers that had requested our tri-fold pamphlets. All the participant had to do was reply with a photo of themselves with our display shown at their establishment. A free Bassani Xhaust jacket was the prize.

Vintage CBX Project Bike

Ken Davison of Apopka Florida contacted me in hopes of getting some of our old Bassani emblems that were used on the Bassani dirt bike Pipes way back in the day. He has a Honda CBX 6cyl and was planning on restoring it for vintage racing. including the World CBX Rally in Georgia. I managed to locate a whole box of the emblems and shipped him some in time for his event. These pictures are what he sent me back.His Honda CBXs looks great and definetly shows pride of ownership. Easy Eddies, North Carolina

The Bassani babes contest was being held at Easy Eddies in North Carolina at the same time they were having an open house. Several industry manufacturers and vendors, including the Drag Specialties truck would be there displaying their products. Easy Eddies is located off of statesville road near Huntersville and is a well known stop for the local and out of state bikers in the region. When it comes too bikers needs for his rides and the rider himself, Eddies has it all. This place is huge and has a parts counter, service area, lounge and full bar, outside patio complete with satellite TV’s everywhere. Eddies has been selling Bassani since back in the day and we really appreciate how he has our pipes displayed as well as the local riders who showed up representing the Bassani on their ride. This is a great place and if your in the area please be sure to stop by Easy Eddies.

Hutch Special Burnout

We got this softail in for fitting our new Hutch Special on. The guys thought it be a good opportunity to do a sound clip to hear what these sound and perform like. Nick Trumbo took the chance to interject his own personal signature approval of the pipes. Remember don’t try this at home kids.

USS NIMITZ is POWER YOU CAN FEEL

Darryl and company had the privilege of getting the VIP tour of the air craft carrier USS Nimitz. This is one of the largest nuclear powered warships in the world. Captain Michael Manazir was nice enough to take time out of his busy day to give us an education on the operations of a ship this size and what it takes to maintain it. The ship was actually preparing to be deployed to sea which takes several days of loading equipment and supplies. This ship is home to 3000 sailors and another 2000 airmen and support for the aircraft that fly out to meet the ship after it is deployed. Captain Manazir was recently promoted to Admiral and this was to be his last command of the Nimitz, as his replacement was to take over at Sea. Captain Manazir is a Harley rider and we took the opportunity to give him some Bassani propaganda and swagger. The crew of the ship were very friendly and helpful and we’ve never seen a more motivated group. This is some of America’s finest and we were honored to have a piece of their day and wish them well on there next deployment.
